Think Before Speaking
JY: Oh, don't bother trying to talk to her in Chinese. It's terrible.
Ena: I don't suck. But my Chinese sucks.
Male Slut: giggles uncontrollably.
JY & I followed suit.
Ena: (after a moment's realization) Oh no! I don't mean it in that way.
“Hey… What ya doing?”
– A pretty cute mexican guy living a couple of doors down from us in the residence halls. I nicknamed him male slut.
Just want to know if
having been hurt or had a bad experience makes you feel so afraid and cautious that you are no longer as open or free as you were before. You become more guarded and closed off.
