A Sentimental Heart..

I’ve just changed my IM account to my current email address and the dreaded flood of “Who are yous?” or “You ares?” has settled in. I have to mentally prepare to re-introduce myself and make stupid mindless virtual small talk for the next few days.

That is dreadful indeed.

Yet, it also means I can start throwing unknown people off my contact list and hopefully be rid of all the stupid spams I’ve been getting lately.

Said by Dr. Tobias Funke in “Arrested Development”, it implies a situation that is very awkward and uncomfortable for all parties. Also means someone who sucks at life, therefore making everyone around them uncomfortable.

Sounds exactly like how I would describe a now (and I can very happily say) ex-“project mate”

I just got a phone call from my Mommy aka Mian Li. He blew me away by his sweetness. Reason being? Results were released and we were IM-ing each other about it. I did fairly okay on the whole but I guess my slightly lacklustre responses was interrpreted by him as me being upset.

Result?

He called me to make sure I was okay and in the event I was not, was all ready to console me.

So while I know I could have done better, no thanks to the stupid mid-terms, I am happy in the fact that despite us pitting ourselves against one another, it does not tear us apart. We’re all looking out for each other at the end of the day.

Also, I am just a little tired out from the partying last night.

Nevertheless, I am content to know that I have friends who truly care about each other.

I ♥ you guys, even though I’m sure none of you are looking at this.

I’ve always had a soft spot for 5th December. Good things always happen on this day each year as far as I remember.

While I don’t recall much of what happened each and every 5th December of each year, I know that 5th December 2008 is one of relief and contentment. My first semester as freshman has gone by in a flash. It has been an awesome ride despite everything that has happened in the past 3 months. I don’t think I will want to redo any part of it differently.

So, thank you.

P/S. 12 years ago on this day, I embarked on my first trip to Australia. It was one of my best holidays ever so far.
